Anyways, so since I ovulated in some shape or form (lol)...if I don't get my period by CD35 they will have to induce it and we start this whole process over again next month. Unless, of course, I'm pregnant...but I'm not even counting on that. When I got pregnant with Mason my Day 21 progesterone was 35, yesterday it was 9. So, for now we are taking it day by day and I'm okay with that...the best things in life are worth waiting for. One of my concerns is that if I DO get pregnant, and my progesterone is this low, it may not hold.
Another concern is my insurance. It is just plain awful. The same insurance with the $7K deductible for outpatient procedures which left us with a $6K bill in our mailbox for Mason's tubes he had to get in his ears.. You can imagine that made our day. I am really thankful my grandfather pays for our insurance since Kevin and I work for him, but he took the cheap way out and the coverage is ridiculous. It doesn't even deserve to be called "coverage".
He told me to look into other family plans for Kevin, myself, and Mason..which is what I have been doing. I want to get good maternity coverage, but if I get pregnant within a few months of getting on a new plan will they still cover the pregnancy..or is there some sort of one year clause where maternity isn't covered? I'm going to have to look into all this stuff. I hate dealing with insurance crap.
Well, I'm done ranting and raving for now. Tomorrow will be a much happier post, I just wanted to give an update on my blood work and vent before bedtime! :)

Aww well I am glad "something" is happening versus nothing at all! You will get your baby! I just know it! It just takes time and patience! :) You are in my thoughts and Ill be hoping and praying you get your second baby! :) and good lord your insurance is ridiculous! Ive never seen one that high! But to throw a suggestion out there you should try humana! Thats what I had when I had Zoe and all I ended up paying was 400 dollars out of a 30,000 dollar hospital bill! I would have loved to stay with them as well but Mitchells work went to a private insurance! But I think they would be worth the call! Just to kind of help you out!
Just don't tell the insurance company you knew you were pregnant prior to getting it. SOME are ok with it, but a lot will claim it as a previous medical situation and refuse to cover anything (as my husband's last insurance did, so I had to get on state aid to cover my post baby surgery). Honestly insurance is SO ridiculous and I am glad my hubby has a new one that is better (but still not awesome). Good luck on getting pregnant! I TTC next cycle as well so maybe we'll end up due together! Sorry this cycle seems to be a bust. Have you thought of using some progesterone creams or something?
Sorry to hear that your progesterone level was not as high as you'd hoped. At least you have a good attitude about the whole thing which definitely can't hurt. These little bundles of joys are definitely worth waiting for...
As for the insurance I have no idea. It's one of the best things, along with maternity benefits, that the Canadian government provides. I thankfully do not have to worry about anything except for prescription meds. All doctor visits, surgeries, procedures, etc... are all covered by our medical system. I cannot imagine having to pay such crazy amount for something that is medically necessary. But, the down side is our taxes are A LOT higher than yours...
Some form of O, HA! Atleast theres a plan in hand for the next C. Insurances are all a joke anymore.
I feel ya. My H just got a new job. The insurance is actually pretty good! However, we pay out the ass and it's $200 a MONTH for family coverage. UGH!
"Some form of ovulation"?! That's a new one.
Keep up the laid-back attitude, stress never helps.
And, Oh boy do I hear ya on health insurance. The state of healthcare in the US is just appaling. It's a huge soapbox of mine. But, I definitely feel your pain. Researching and dealing with Insurance companies is on my list of things I just hate, hate, HATE!
Dani- The one we have is AWFUL and was almost $450 a month. Something just isn't right with our health system!
When I did Clomid I had some sort of ovulation on the first round but it wasn't strong enough so they upped the dosage. If you end up having to induce AF I would request a higher dosage of Clomid for the next go round.
Plus I was worried about my progesterone level because of my LP only being 10 days when we got pregnant with Delilah that I asked for a supplement so you might want to consider that if you end up being pregnant & worried about levels.
Insurance- ugh what a bummer! I hate dealing with it too & I hope you find what you guys need!
